نتیجه گیری و پیشنهادات:
بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه شیوع کانال چهارم در نژاد ایرانی نسبتا بالا می باشد. با توجه به عدم تهاجمی بودن و دقت بالای CBCT برای شناسایی کانال های اضافی و اهمیت کشف این کانال ها در موفقیت یک درمان ریشه، لذا پیشنهاد می شود:

از CBCT به عنوان ابزار کمکی در تشخیص کانال های اضافی در بالین استفاده شود.
در مطالعات بعدی مورفولوژی کانالی سایر دندان ها نیز با بهره گرفتن از CBCT بررسی گردد.
مورفولوژی کانال دندانی در کلیشه های CBCT بیماران نیز بررسی گردد.
